21세기는 전세계 박물관에 새롭고 급속하게 변화하는 환경과 기회를 제공합니다. 새로운 과제와 의무는 지역마다, 문화마다, 도시와 지방 간에, 선진국과 후진국 간에 매우 다양하며, 동일한 경우도 있고 상당히 다른 경우도 있습니다. 본 연구는 일부 유럽의 작은 박물관들이 각각의 목적을 정의하고(또는 재정의하고), 시공간의 주요 딜레마와 충돌을 해결하며, 적극적인 공동체 협력 관계를 통해 지속가능한 업무 방식을 개발하기 위해 모호하며 때로는 상반된 추세를 해석하는 방법을 검토할 것입니다.
A SUSTAINABLE DEFINITION OF MUSEUMS IN THE 21ST CENTURY?
The 21st century poses new and rapidly changing conditions and possibilities for museums across the world. Some of the new challenges and obligations are shared, and some are profoundly dissimilar, as they vary greatly from region to region, from culture to culture, from urban to rural, from richer countries to poorer countries. This presentation will look at examples of how some smaller European museums have interpreted the ambiguous and often contradictory trends in society to (re)define their purpose, to address major dilemmas and conflicts of their time and place, and to develop sustainable working methods in an active relationship with their communities.
